Mao Jian Tea (pronounced maow te-een), also known as Xinyang Maojian and Yu Maofeng, is one of the ten famous teas of China. This connoisseur green tea comes from the precious spring harvest of the misty Huang Shan Mountain in Anhui Province. Named after Dao Ren (Dao priests) who meditated on the mountain in the ancient times.
Why We Love Mao Jian Green Tea
The character of the tea is bright fresh and clean. Mao Jian Green Tea is refreshing and suits any time of day. The dark seaweed-green leaf produces a bright champagne coloured liquor. The taste is brisk, clean and complex with sweet floral tones.
