The name of this tea - Lapsang Souchong - has been anglicised from the Chinese Zheng Shan Xiao Zong, which means 'Zheng mountains small tea variety'. Our Lapsang Souchong comes from Fujian and is made from larger, more mature leaves that have been withered and dried and then smoked.
